THE FIRE MAGIC

When I was young I spent hours in front of the fireplace. I tapped the burning wood with a shovel causing the burning bark to fall off.

The shovel was the wand, I was the wizard and the sparks my magic.

THE DREAM OF A CHILD

One day, browsing the PIccolo Palazzi (an Italian dictionary), I found an illustrated page dedicated to the Goldsmith Craftsman, a man who works precious metals into jewels using many tools with strange names and especially the fire.
At age 12 I convinced my parents to let me attend a goldsmith workshop in my town.
I felt the luckiest child in the world!

MY FIRST COLLECTIONS

Relatives and friends were my first "customers".
At age 13 I demonstrated my craftiness by modelling gold, silver and leather. With my small recompense, I fitted my first work bench, tool after tool. In one year my first goal was accomplished: my bench was complete!

BY DAY IN THE FACTORY, AND EVENINGS IN THE WORKSHOP

I dreamed of Florence.
I was 18 years old when I packed my bench and tools, left Puglia and headed to the Tuscan capital city, where the goldsmith tradition was centuries old.
After a few months, I started working for important jewellery factories. In the evening, I accompanied old masters of gold, silverware and sculpture.
As they told me their stories, I watched them work.
And so, first with the eyes and then with my hands, I learned the secrets of their ancient art.

INNOVATION AND RESEARCH

In Valenza Po, the first 3D design software, the first CNC milling machines entered the factories, marking the future for creating jewellery.
Curious about the innovation, 25 years old, I decided to move to the Valencian region to take on this new challenge. Since then 3D design and sculpture have become my new tools working with files and hammers.

AN UNEXPECTED CHOICE

My trip went through all the planned destinations and even some unexpected ones.
At that point, I faced two opportunities: to stay or to emigrate. I chose the third.
At age 30 I started my Goldsmith Workshop in Apulia.

FROM THE CURIOSITY TO THE PASSION, FROM PASSION TO THE LOVE

Today I’m a Master Goldsmith specialising in Jewellery Design Made in Italy, appraisal and I am a technical expert in Artistic Metal Processing. I dedicate myself to creating custom jewellery. Mine is a craftsmanship Workshop, with high tech equipment, owned by a big company.
I interpret memories, ideas and the stories of my customers, enabling them to live unique and creative experiences in my workshop.
I love to tell the story of the fascination with Goldsmith Art, its historical value and its national excellence renowned in the world. Today, my trip continues.
